Every Day Objects 20th Century

The art objects of the prehistoric period caught my eye for several reasons. First it is incredible that they even made them, and it is fun how we still use these objects in our (20078) every day life. Prehistoric people probably had to use these items to hold food, carry water or carry grains from the common shelter to their cooking place and still held them as an art object. Today, we might not use them for every day tasks, but they are still regarded as art objects.
I also made me think of how we have classified people as being being primative, unsocialized, unskilled, when by the things they left behind they were highly skilled and they were able to produce such beauty without having precision tools and mechanical molds as we use in our daily lives. It is amazing how thousands of years link us - we are really the same cultural society.

yes absolutely- we classify them as not modern as if that were synonymous with simplicity, naivete and being unskilled...so uremarkably untrue.
